About this piece:
This handbuilt piece is created by cutting slabs of clay and attaching around a form with the addition of a handle. Red clay is fired with a combination of black and green drizzling glaze. Subtle metallic crystalline structures can be seen in the glaze. Stars are drawn by hand with oil pastels capable of being kiln fired. As the glaze fired and covered up the stars, small pieces peek through to create an appealing texture on the body. Holds up to 12 fl oz of liquid.
