Each pieces is hand rolled or pinched into shape and an “X” impression is added. An arched piece of wire is inserted at the top of the pieces that will become hook earrings and its all left out to dry. After drying, they are bisque fired to full dryness and painted with an assortment of glazes or glaze combinations. They are fired one more time and left to cool before hooks or stud backs are attached and assembled on card backs for selling.
