Each bead is individually had rolled and hole punched. They are made with an assortment of clays and underglazes to create intriguing patterns and aesthetic. Wild clay from Southern Utah has been collected and processed to create these handmade beads. Recycled wood is sanded and drilled to support the beads and give a nice appearance. Threaded with a durable nylon cord and hand tied, it uses minimal materials for a sustainable product. This specific tapestry includes 272 hand rolled beads.
